We are opening our family to another canine kid!

When we decided to adopt Ivy we knew we wanted to eventually have two dogs, the suggestion from the greyhound adoption was to get the first dog and really settle them into family life then add a second. That way the dogs don't cling to, and bond, only with each other.

Ivy has been with us now a little over 3 months, she is part of the family. We love her and feel it is definitely time to add our second dog. We contacted First State Greyhounds and filled out our application and got the call back. We met Val http://www.firstgreys.org/availablehounds (at the bottom of the page) a few weeks ago and really liked her. Ivy also met her and they seem to be a good fit so we will be bringing her home on Nov. 15th or 16th! We are all very happy and can't wait till she is home!
